This App is part of the National Library of Medicine’s program to fulfill the NLM’s role as a provider of medical, science and health care information using mobile technologies. The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of child Health & Human Development has provided support for two components of the imaging project. Scientists at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center has supported the 3D-reconstruction of the collection to add visual dynamics to the images.

Latest reviews of Embryo app for iPhone and iPad

Good pictures and descriptions.
The pictures are really nice and it gives you a description of whats happening at different days past ovulation. I would have given it 5 stars but there needs to be a bit more info. It would be good if they listed when the heart starts beating, not just when it starts to develop. Overall good app!
Nice info, horrible interface
The information the app provides is really nice. Wish it would show the Embryo in later stages past 8 weeks. The real problem with this app is the interface. Arrow list buttons dont do anything. After clicking on the information button, the done button doesnt work for a good 3 seconds. The interface needs a good overhaul.
Proof read!
I was looking for an app like this to follow the pregnancies of several friends, but the very first thing I noticed is a major grammar mistake in the description! Your program has VIDEOS not videos. Apostrophes show possession. What exactly are the videos here in ownership of? You could say the videos graphics are excellent, that would be correct. Or the videos here have excellent graphics. Such an error from a major medical resource makes me doubt the accuracy of the information provided.
